Design leader — 15+ years scaling teams and systems in complex environments.
Under pressure, at scale, and in the middle of chaos.
I believe design leadership is about structure, not style. The experiences a team delivers reflect the culture you build.
By focusing on people first, process second, and practice third, I create the conditions for extraordinary work.
A post-merger design org, two cultures, one roadmap. How we stood up shared rituals, governance, and a single backlog in 90 days — without freezing delivery.
One sign-in for 200M+ customers and 1.6M associates. The platform we shipped, the incentives we changed, and why the org chart was the real problem.
Seventeen tools, three screens, one job: turn planes around. A story about deleting software and earning the right to replace it.
How a federated model, strong rituals, and a very specific RFC process moved a 400-designer org onto one system — with zero headcount dedicated to it.
Manager, Product Design — Employee Tools
Built the operating model that stabilized a leaderless design org during a $1.9B merger.
I came in as one of three design managers inside a 23-person org that had just lost its Director. I built the structures that filled the gaps: pod-based working, peer review cadence, ESAT instrumentation, Jetstream 2.0 governance.
Principal Product Designer — Identity & Access Management
Owned Walmart Identity end-to-end and scaled verified users from 11M to 52M.
I was the principal designer responsible for Walmart's entire identity platform serving 80M+ users across web, mobile, in-store kiosks, and SMS. I diagnosed the problem, moved phone verification to the point of sign-in, and aligned Security, Product, and Engineering around a shared decision framework.
Lead Designer — Digital Self-Service
Ran the team, owned the craft, and consolidated 579 kiosk screens to 119.
I operated as both manager and principal — responsible for strategy, people, and delivery. I went to the terminal, watched passengers navigate in real time, and reframed the brief: this was a decision architecture problem, not an interface problem.
Lead Designer
Reduced design-to-handoff cycle by 45% and launched high-visibility consumer products.
Built design velocity and process infrastructure across one of the largest media platforms in the US. Established early-career leadership foundation in scaled consumer product delivery.
Built the federated design-system practice inside a 400-designer org. Wrote the RFC process, ran the critique rituals, earned the mandate through contribution rather than headcount.
The short list. Each one has a longer story behind it — ask and I'll tell you about the time it mattered.

I'm available for Sr. Manager and Director of Product Design roles. If you're building something that needs a leader who investigates before building — I'd love to talk.
